PROPOSAL FOR 2010 MANAGEMENT OF BADAM BAGH GRAPE PLOTS

Four (4) grape plots are established on Badam Bagh farm. Three (3) plots are established under T-trellis and one (1) plot as an I-trellis. One of the T-trellis plots is flood irrigated, while the other 3 plots are drip irrigated. Varieties include Sultana (White Kishmish), Taifi and Shundulkhani, but unfortunately all the plots are mixed. A map was drawn to identify the different varieties in each plot. The plots were established during July 2007 and trained during the 2007 and 2008 growing seasons. The first pruning for fruiting was carried out during February/March 2009 with resultant good growth that will allow a full crop in 2010.....
